Meet Sian....
Born and brought up in Wales, I started skiing at the age of 8 with my family at the local dry slope. I soon joined the children's club and learned to love messing about on skis. The teaching I had in those early years, alongside regular school ski trips and family holidays to Europe ensured that I would continue to ski in my adult life, I was hooked.
After leaving University, I decided to work a season in the alps, one season turned into a permanent cycle of winters in Canada, NZ, Australia and France. During those years I ventured more off piste, competing in Free-ride and mogul events. After almost 12 winters, I embarked on the BASI Ski Teacher training and realised my passion. I taught within a Ski School environment for many years but a few years ago I decided to set up my own business to allow more flexibility with a growing family.
Alongside skiing I'm mad about road/gravel biking and pretty much anything that involves being in the great outdoors up a mountain or by the ocean.
Mainly based in the beautiful and extensive Paradiski area of Les Arcs and La Plagne, I'm happy to travel to any resort within the Tarentaise valley. I coach all levels and all ages from complete beginners to BASI teacher trainees and beyond.
